FAQ

  • What makes this different from other baby safety courses?

There are a few things: First and foremost, this class is taught by C. Anthoney Lim, M.D., M.S., a dad himself and a top pediatric ER doctor who treats emergencies day in and day out. Because of his unique experiences in the field, he's able to offer the most helpful advice possible on infant and child safety. We've paired him with Anna Jimenez Lyle, a mom who learns alongside you in the course and asks the questions we know come up most often for parents and caregivers. This course also covers a ton of different topics that go far beyond basic CPR and choking rescue maneuvers (although we cover those, too!). We also get into common illnesses and injuries, when to call the doctor or head to the ER, and more. Finally, you might be debating whether to take this course or an in-person CPR class. While in-person options certainly have their own benefits, the great thing about this course is that it can be referenced any time throughout your 12 months of access. So you can revisit it when your baby gets a fever, or when your child is starting solid foods and you want to brush up on choking rescue maneuvers. (For this reason, it can also be a nice refresher if you’ve already taken an in-person CPR course.)
